Ingredients :
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces.
1lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons of olive oil divided
4 minced garlic cloves
1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 teaspoon of paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 lemon, juice
Minced fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the steak bites:
Season steak bites with salt, pepper, paprika, dried rosemary and dried thyme.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until steak bites are browned and cooked to your desired tender level. Take steak bites out of the pan and put them to the side.
Cook the prawns:
In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add minced garlic and simmer for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the pan and cook about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Combine steak and shrimp:
Flip the pan seared steak bites with shrimp.
Add unsalted butter and lime juice, tossing together until butter is melted and steak and shrimp are coated nicely in lemon butter sauce.
Serve :
Transfer steak bites and shrimp to a serving tray.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
