Hamburger Steaks With Onion Gravy

You want them to brown and cook gently until done. If the temperature is too high, they will brown on the outside but the inside will still be raw. So cook them gently.

If the outside is golden and the inside isn’t done yet, lower the heat and cook longer.

This burger is pan-fried on the stove and smothered in a thick brown gravy with onions. Learn the simple chef-inspired secret behind making ultra-juicy, restaurant-quality steak patties!

It’s the perfect easy dinner when you want something more sophisticated than a burger, but more casual than a steak. I used to struggle with what I could make for dinner with ground beef that the whole family would love. It does the trick every time!

INGREDIENTS:

•1lb. ground beef

•1 egg 1/3 cup bread crumbs

•1/2tsp. black pepper

•1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. onion powder

•1 clove garlic minced

•1tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1tbsp. oil

•1 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion

•2tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 cup beef broth 1/2tsp. salt

PREPARATION:

➔In a colossal bowl, join as one the ground burger, egg, bread scraps, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Structure into thick patties.

➔Heat the oil in a huge skillet over medium force. Burn the patties and onion in the oil until patties are well carmelized.

➔Dispense with the cheeseburger patties to a plate, and keep warm.

➔Sprinkle flour over the onions and drippings in the skillet.

➔Blend in flour in with a fork, scratching bits of cheeseburger off of the base as you blend.

➔Consistently mix in the cheeseburger stock.Season with arranged salt. Stew and blend over medium-low power for close to 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

➔Go power to low, return patties to the sauce, cover, and stew for 15 extra minutes. Present with a significant bowl of pureed potatoes. Enjoy !
