Tips and Variations

To make it alcohol-free, just replace the tequila and orange liqueur with carbonated water or lemon-lime soda.

– For a delicious alternative to blackberries, try raspberries or blueberries.

– To make your tequila more fiery, you may either add a slice of jalapeño to the mix or use a combination of salt and chili powder to garnish the glass.

– After macerating with sugar for an hour, blackberries will release considerably more flavor when mushed.

– Add a little simple syrup or agave syrup if you’re craving something sweet.

Always taste your drink before adding more or less components; balance is crucial. It really comes down to individual taste, whether sweetness or acidity is more prominent.
